From Memorandum to Practice: Mobiuz Hosts Cisco Delegation

Mobiuz management met with a delegation from Cisco at the operator's headquarters in Tashkent. The group was led by Adele Trombetta, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco Customer Experience for EMEA.

The visit follows up on a memorandum of cooperation the two companies signed in London in May at Cisco Connect 2026 UK & Ireland.

Both sides said the partnership goes back years. Cisco equipment runs across the operator's core IT infrastructure, including the mission-critical segments where downtime is not an option.

The meeting focused on going deeper into artificial intelligence and information security: how AI, data analytics and current cybersecurity tools can make the operator's network more secure, more resilient and cheaper to run.

Much of the discussion came down to visibility. When a single view covers the whole infrastructure and the analytics flag problems before they surface, an operator running a nationwide network can schedule upgrades and maintenance in advance instead of reacting to outages.

The two companies also went through specific projects they could take on in these areas.

They agreed to keep the conversation going at every level, from Cisco's regional team to its global leadership.
