Mobiuz Hosts Cloudflare Delegation in Tashkent

A delegation from Cloudflare, the U.S. internet infrastructure company, visited Mobiuz headquarters in Tashkent. The group was led by Tomer Pridor, Cloudflare's vice president for EMEA.

The two companies discussed network interconnection, cybersecurity and possible joint projects.

Cloudflare runs one of the largest networks in the world. About a fifth of all websites sit behind it, and its infrastructure is in more than 330 cities in over 120 countries, which puts 95% of the world's internet-connected population within 50 milliseconds of the nearest Cloudflare data center.

The company blocks DDoS attacks, the attempts to knock a site offline by flooding it with traffic, speeds up content delivery, secures DNS, and sells Zero Trust tools that check every request inside a corporate network instead of trusting whoever is already on it.

Cloudflare's team showed the products Mobiuz could put to work in its own network.

The meeting fits the direction Mobiuz has taken over the past few years, moving from a company that sells calls and data to one that sells digital services. For an operator of that size, a partner like Cloudflare is a way to raise network security and speed without building the tools from scratch.

Both sides agreed to keep talking and to look for specific areas to work on together.
