Mobiuz and Cisco move to putting the memorandum into action
Mobiuz's head office hosted a meeting between the mobile operator's leadership and Ramil Eyubov, regional director for the CIS at the international technology corporation Cisco. This time the two sides discussed practical steps for implementing the cooperation memorandum signed in London.
Mobiuz and Cisco signed the memorandum in May at one of the region's largest technology forums — Cisco Connect 2026 UK & Ireland. The document set the strategic directions for joint work: embedding artificial intelligence into network infrastructure, automating network management, advancing cybersecurity and building multi-cloud environments. In essence it was a roadmap, and now the companies are mapping out their first routes along it.
The meeting in Tashkent focused on turning the agreements into concrete projects. The sides discussed priorities, timelines and areas of responsibility for each direction of the memorandum — from pilot rollouts of AI solutions to programmes for strengthening the protection of subscriber data. The conversation was concrete: not about intentions, but about what will go live in the operator's network, and when.
Separately, the participants returned to the topic of developing talent. Back at the January meeting, Mobiuz and Cisco had agreed to launch training and professional development programmes for the operator's young specialists, drawing on Cisco's international certification resources. This initiative is now being put into practice, with Mobiuz employees mastering advanced technologies step by step, directly from the industry's global leader.
Following the talks, the sides agreed to keep working on a tight schedule and to move swiftly toward the first practical results of the partnership.
