On March 27, 2024, at the Central Office of the mobile operator Mobiuz , a meeting was held between the Company’s management and top managers of one of the leading vendors in China – ZTE Corporation .

Mobiuz and ZTE are long-term strategic partners. Joint projects of the companies are aimed at introducing advanced technological solutions in Uzbekistan and developing telecommunications services based on advanced international experience.

Thus, in January of this year, at the Investment Forum as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People's Republic of China, an agreement was signed between Mobiuz and ZTE for a total amount of 20 million US dollars. It is aimed at further development of the Mobiuz network in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region in 2024-2028.

A month later, in February of this year, on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024), Mobiuz and ZTE signed a memorandum of cooperation and new promising projects.

These days, a delegation from ZTE Corporation is visiting Uzbekistan, led by ZTE Senior Vice President Zhu Yongxing and President for the CIS region Xue Bin.

At the meeting with the management of the mobile operator Mobiuz, the progress in implementing the agreements reached, mechanisms for introducing technological innovations and long-term plans for cooperation were discussed. The interest of both parties in deepening the strategic partnership was noted.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold a new round of negotiations and accelerate the implementation of joint projects.
