Mobiuz invests more actively in the development of mobile communication networks every year. Over the past two years, the volume of investments amounted to 106.3 million US dollars. All these funds are allocated for the technical equipment of the operator, installation of new and modernization of existing equipment, introduction of new technologies and necessary software.

At the end of 2023, the company updated its record for base station launches. During the year, over 5,750 new and modernized base stations were put on air . It is noteworthy that in 938 new locations throughout Uzbekistan, the operator’s technical facilities were installed and base stations of various standards were launched.

The largest number of launches of new and modernized base stations occurs in Andijan, Fergana and Namangan regions . This is also due to the fact that it is in these regions that the project to introduce LTE TDD (Time-division duplexing) technology has been successfully implemented. It allows you to use the frequency range more efficiently and provide high quality signals.

Mobiuz first began using the LTE 2100 standard in fourth-generation networks and carried out its mass launch at more than 1,500 sites. At the same time, the company successfully applies the LTE 800, LTE 1800, LTE 2600 standards and their capabilities in providing 4G+ service.

Mobiuz was the first to launch VoLTE (voice calls on fourth generation networks) and ViLTE (video calls on fourth generation networks) technologies throughout Uzbekistan. Currently, hundreds of thousands of subscribers use the services.

To ensure uninterrupted operation of technical facilities, batteries, diesel and gasoline generator sets were purchased and installed. The capabilities of the transport network have been expanded to increase its capacity for voice and Internet traffic. New technological solutions began to be applied.

As a result, at the end of 2023, Mobiuz subscribers used 88.8% more Internet traffic than a year earlier. In terms of 4G networks, this figure increased by 120%.
