Mobiuz has improved network coverage in the Bukhara region

In 2023, Mobiuz launched more than 190 new and modernized base stations in the cities and regions of Bukhara.

The Bukhara region occupies an area of over 40.2 thousand square kilometers, about 90% of which falls on the Kyzylkum desert. The region's population is over 2 million people, 63% of whom live in rural areas. At the same time, the region, and in particular the city of Bukhara, one of the oldest centers of world civilization, annually receives thousands of foreign and domestic tourists.

All these features of the region were taken into account by the mobile operator Mobiuz when planning and implementing a project for the further development of cellular communications.

This year, more than 150 base stations were launched at new facilities in the Bukhara region. Thanks to this, the coverage of 4G LTE networks has been expanded, including in remote villages. In cities and regional centers, the number of base stations has also been increased to provide even better services in the improved 4G+ standard.

The largest number of new base stations were installed in the city of Bukhara - 36. 25 were launched in the Gijduvan district, 22 in the Karakul district, 21 in the Zhondor district, 13 in the Kagan district, and 11 new base stations in the Pushkun district. In the six remaining districts of the region, from 2 to 8 base stations are included in the air. A significant part of them was launched in the LTE 1800 band, as well as LTE 800, 2100, 2600.

This year, 4G LTE networks from Mobiuz became available in the settlements of Urtakhovli and Setalon (Gijduvan district), Chandir and Katta Durmon (Karakul district), Jonkhuroz (Peshkun district) and other areas.

Taking into account the further growth of Internet traffic, 40 existing base stations were modernized in the city of Bukhara, Gijduvan, Peshkun, Jondor, Kagan, Karakul, Shofirkan, Romitan districts. The prevailing share of the company's updated facilities falls on the LTE 2100 and 2600 bands.

These days, the technical team of the Mobiuz Service Center in the Bukhara region is completing work on another 9 base stations. Including them on air before the New Year will allow us to successfully achieve the annual plan for the development and modernization of fourth generation networks.
